Service Design Manager

The team are now looking for an experienced and well organised individual who can lead the service design function, building a team that will embed a user-centred approach to the work of the CDC and provide leadership through a design thinking approach is expected, based on our key principles of collaboration, openness, impact, learning, simplify, and trust.
The ideal candidate will:
¿ Be highly organised and structured with the ability to create solutions to complex problems
¿ Understand the scope and purpose of PPIE activities and understand how to build a strategic programme of engagement
¿ Understand and have experience of using design thinking principles to effect change
¿ Work collaboratively and inclusively to co-design systems that work across boundaries
¿ Understand the need for openness and transparency in the field of health innovation
¿ Be driven by the desire to improve health outcomes
¿ Understand the need for a Team Science approach to impactful delivery
