Service Designer
University of Nottingham
As a UX and Service Design team we love spending our time with real people, understanding their thoughts, feelings, beliefs, ideas, behaviours and needs. As a university we interact with a wide range of individuals with different backgrounds across our student and staff communities. Understanding these communities and their needs and expectations is what makes working within the UX and Service Design team at the University of Nottingham so exciting.
This Opportunity
We are currently seeking an individual to join us on our journey to maturity in the role of Service Designer. For this role, we are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual who can foster creativity and confidence within others, is able to challenge the status quo and be prepared to take risks to make improvements.
Join us as our next Service Designer
As a Service Designer in our team, you are part of a growing UX and Service Design community consisting of UX/UI Designers, User Researchers, and other Service Designers. You will be key to shaping, consulting, and designing experiences across the University that impact our students, staff, and broader communities. Your input will be vital early on in a project to advise on scope, conduct discovery in partnership with User Research and translate those findings to stakeholders at various levels to inform the projects future. You will also support the delivery of these projects, working collaboratively with skill sets such as Enterprise Architecture and Business Analysts alongside members from your own team to ensure a human centric lens is taken, balancing both user and university need.
