Service Designer

Police Scotland have an opportunity for people with a passion for service design and public service who demonstrate exceptional engagement, relationship, and problem solving skills to help shape the future organisation. The successful candidate will provide a professional, trusted, and proactive approach to service design.

This is an exciting time to be working with us as we develop a people-centred approach to designing services at every level, from international events such as Cop-26 to rural policing, and everything in between. You would be joining a small and friendly team from a range of backgrounds, and bringing your own insights and experiences to help us grow.

You should be educated to degree level or be able to show substantial experience in a relevant field. Experience of leading design projects and working with diverse stakeholders would be beneficial but is not essential. The successful candidate will be someone who possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with a variety of audiences within and external to Police Scotland.
