Service Designer

We need Service Designers who can help shape our client’s vision and strategy by contextualising products and services and applying user-centred design methods. You’ll be responsible for designing complex, multi-touchpoint experiences and assuring the quality of design delivery across teams.

You’ll also help set direction, embed good practice within teams and ensure services deliver the desired outcomes.

Things we’re looking for

• Experience designing and delivering multi-touchpoint services, end-to-end, front-end-back, across all channels
• Ability to lead a team of designers and researchers
• Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams
• Strong workshop facilitation skills
• Ability to present to senior stakeholder
• A solid grasp of user-centred design and research methodologies, usability and accessibility concerns
• Understanding of Lean and Agile ways of working
• An iterative, open and collaborative approach to design

These would be great too, but aren’t essential

• GDS experience
• Ability to prototype
• User research and usability testing experience
