Our client is looking for a Service Designer with real world experience to join their newly formed service design function within the Technology Design and Delivery Team.As the largest nature conservation charity in the UK with over 1.2 million members, our client’s digital estate is vital to their mission – from rallying people together to speak up for nature, to inspiring a love of wildlife, to raising the income that pays for their conservation work in the UK and around the world.Position: Service Designer

Location:

Our client is flexible about where you’re able to work from, but there’s an expectation that you’ll have to regularly travel to deliver work as part of projects and meet up with the rest of the team.

Salary:

£34,643 to £37,530 per annum + Travel Expenses.Hours: Full time, permanent

About the Role:

As Service Designer you’ll utilise your passion for engaging users, creativity and experience to help shape user-centred service design offer and to support the Digital Service Design Manager to share and spread knowledge of the advantages of a user-centred approach to service design throughout the organisation.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our design decisions are based on robust evidence and an iterative, agile process. You’ll work to understand the end to end journey of a service and make sure that no stone is left unturned in the effort to understand the wider impact of changing existing and developing new services. You’ll use your skills as a collaborator, communicator and facilitator to work with a team of UX researchers, solutions architects and business analysts to deliver an engaging and robust service to the rest of the organisation.

You will be equally happy providing feedback and guidance to technical teams as you will engaging the public in focus groups and creative activities.
