Responsibilities

Responsible for designing, coordinating and presenting finished art or conceptual for current or potential customers.
Develops original artwork as requested by the customer and follows through with suggested artwork as appropriate. Achieves the performance deadlines established by the Company.
Communicates with customers regarding plant-manufacturing procedures.
Provides information, answers questions and proposes solutions for customers, sales reps and production personnel.
Travel to sales field locations, working with schools in individual art planning sessions (Required Company Travel – Approximately 10% of the year.)
Ability to work within a team-based structure.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Demonstrate consistent customer-focused attitude.
Ability to develop, maintain and follow standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Must have at minimum an associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred) in Graphic Design or similar. Minimum of 2 years experience. Additional experience may substitute for some educational requirements.
Must have strong background in graphic design and illustration.
Good working knowledge of the printing process
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient at designing on the MAC and or IBM platform.
Must be proficient working in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop.
Knowledge of InDesign helpful.
Must be able to work independently, possess a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn.
Must be able to make presentations to groups and create illustrations by hand on demand.
Self-discipline in a remote home office environment.
