Senior Service Designer
Ministry of Social Development
We are looking for Senior Service Designers to lead, support and contribute to a range of work programmes across four portfolios: Income, Housing, Employment, and Future Services, with the role initially working in the Employment portfolio.
Through client and channel experience design we are constantly looking for ways to make it easy to deal with us. Never satisfied with the status quo we are always looking for more effective ways to deliver these services to the right clients at the right time.
We work closely with the frontline to develop and improve programmes and initiatives. You will have a specific focus working in the employment portfolio team and ideally bring experience working in an agile environment as we continue to deliver improvements within the Working with Employers work stream.
In this role, you will:
• Identify and share innovative ideas that may contribute to the body of knowledge that will enable improvements to client accessibility and experiences
• Draw on a wide range of insight in developing and delivering programmes and services
• Stay updated on the latest developments/trends/thinking on service delivery, sharing knowledge and ideas with colleagues
• Work with others to turn insights and identified opportunities into differentiated service experiences
Our work is high profile so we are looking for Senior Service designers with a well-rounded skill set to contribute to this work. If this type of work interests you, then we would love to hear from you.
