Service Design Consultant

Description Of Work/project

Client’s Giving and Grants Discovery has several goals:

• • Client would like to improve the experience for external organizations with an interest in finding and learning about relevant funding, giving and grant opportunities, and understanding how to proceed with properly submitting request for consideration.
  • Client would like to review the end to end evaluation and processing of requests for process improvements

The Design Thinking / Service Design Consultant will be a core team member, responsible for providing subject matter expertise and coaching to junior team members around design thinking, service design and service blueprinting to create a holistic new service blueprint for the Client Giving Ecosystem.

Core Deliverables

• • Conduct External Interviews and User Research
  • Develop Personas and Needs Matrices
  • Develop User Journey Maps
  • Prepare for and conduct Design Thinking / Service Design Workshop
  • Develop Future State Service Blueprints
  • Develop Primary User Flows
  • Develop Giving Taxonomy
  • Facilitate prototype development and usability testing

Experience Required

• • Hands on experience as the lead facilitator for service design workshops that resulted in meaningful business outcomes.
  • 5 years with design thinking projects
  • 5 years experience with service design projects
  • 10 years experience with User Centric Design techniques
  • Experience with digital technologies
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience with SaaS solutions and cloud infrastructure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate and build relationships across the various business units and within IT is critical to this role
  • Ability to be thrive in a matrix environment that is growing and changing
  • Action oriented, high business acumen

Experience Preferred

• Pharma or grants management experience.
