Job_Alerts

Matched jobs,
in your inbox.

A job alert is a saved watch over the board. You describe the job you want once, and when a listing that fits is published, an email tells you about it. This page covers the criteria, the timing, the account behind it, and what gets stored.

The Match

What an alert watches

Every alert is built from four criteria. When a new listing fits them, it goes to your inbox; when nothing fits, nothing is sent. The same four dimensions drive the filters on the board, so the alert watches what you would browse.

Location

The country you want to work in, picked from the same list the board filters use.

🇸🇪 Sweden🇩🇪 Germany🇬🇧 United Kingdom

Seniority

The experience level you work at or are aiming for.

Industry

The field the employer works in.

Work Preference

Remote, hybrid, or on-site, whichever fits how you want to work.

Timing

When the email arrives

Alerts go out when a matching job is published, not on a schedule. The email is about that one listing, and it arrives because the job fits your criteria.

If no new job matches, no email arrives. No digest, no noise.

The Account

Why an account

An alert has settings, and settings need a home. The account is that home: signed in, you can change your criteria, pause the alert, or start it again.

The same account holds the jobs you saved, so the parts of the board that are yours sit in one place.

Email Practices

Confirm first, leave anytime

Before the first alert is sent, a confirmation email asks you to click a link. That step proves the address is yours and that it wants the mail.

Every alert after that carries an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click stops the emails.

Data

What gets stored

Creating an account stores your email address, your full name, and your password in hashed form. Nobody at Service Design Jobs can read your password.

The profile fields beyond that are the ones you choose to give: the four matching criteria, plus optional years of experience and a salary band. The privacy policy has the details.
