Senior Service Designer

We are looking for two experienced, dynamic and creatively confident Senior Service Designers to join our design team. With a range of experiences across the design spectrum under your belt, you are a team player who has the ability to think several steps ahead. You feel comfortable working at pace and are confident working in a complex and political environment. Experience working on design projects in government or other large organisations is an advantage.

What we would hope you’d bring to CityLab:

• 3+ years of experience working across design projects end to end with skills in:

v Shaping project approaches, planning and conducting research, facilitation, concept design. v Low-mid fidelity prototyping and running experiments. ( You don’t need to be a UXer but you need to be comfortable making things – digital experience is a bonus! )

• Experience with leading streams of work and/or guiding junior designers
• Strong stakeholder management and being comfortable operating in complex environments
• A desire to do work that impacts people who live, work, visit, study or own a business in the City of Melbourne.
