Senior Service Designer (contract)

Role Purpose

The Senior Service Designer will help modernise and transform government services for the South Australian community. They will do this by deliver ing a range of sustainable, user-focussed, digital government services. The Senior Service Designer will define and assure service design protocols for these initiatives. They will also influence, advise and mentor agencies to drive good practice across government. To see the service journey as the user sees it , they will engage broadly across government, industry and research sectors, with business, NGO and community groups and citizens .

Special Conditions

• • Some work outside normal hours may be required – including possible overnight stays in regional and remote communities for community engagement (for example Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara)
  • May be required to work within other areas of the Office for Digital Government.
  • Working within a confidential, commercially oriented and at times, politically sensitive environment
  • The Office for Digital Government fulfils the role of Control Agency for ICT Failure on behalf of the DPC, as specified in the State Emergency Management Plan. Y ou may be required to participate in Control Agency responsibilities subject to appropriate training and induction.
  • Applicants will be required to undergo the appropriate and relevant Employment Screening Assessment(s) required for this role in line with the DPC Employment Screening Policy.

$101,859 – $110,107 p.a.
