The Role    

As a Service Designer, you will be working on projects supports the improvement of customer experiences.  You will work collaboratively on a wide range of projects using human-centred and participatory design methods to frame problems and work on delivering solutions to our customers across all of IAG’s brands.

We are looking for someone who is experienced with Service design and understand what is needed when working in an innovation lab.

Key Responsibilities   

  • You will work across our brands from innovation to BAU projects supported by a team of cross-discipline designers.
  • Use human centred and evidence-based design methodologies and tools to create, anticipate and deliver customer and business value through human experiences.
  • Work with project teams and other designers to improve customer experiences and services using Human Centre Design  and participatory design methods
  • You are able to connect the dots between customer needs, technology, business and design.
  • Identify insights from customer research and market analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and openly in face to face and remote working environments.
  • Communicate and present research and design insights to stakeholders.

Skills & Experience   

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience a Service Design role
  • A tertiary design qualification (Bachelors or Advanced diploma) or relevant associated qualification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and openly
  • Highly organised and excellent time management skills
  • Proactively use initiative to drive success
  • Capable of visualising concepts and ideas through digital or physical mediums
  • Be a proactive learner, building and improving their knowledge of Design techniques and methodologies
