The opportunity

Right now, we have an opportunity for a Service Designer to join us in the Technology and Innovation branch in a Permanent Fixed Term Opportunity until 30th June 2022

The role contributes to delivering services that will positively impact people and bring value to the business. It supports stakeholders in their use of DSI products and services. The role contributes to the development and application of relevant support and continual service improvement frameworks, and leads transition of responsibilities, and product and service use, to operations teams and stakeholders.

 What you will be involved in

  • Develop and improve frameworks, reporting, service management, and processes that ensure the continual function, quality and improvement of DSI products and services
  • Collaborate and support stakeholders through the full lifecycle of product changes and improvements and ensure the comprehensive and sustainable transition of responsibilities to operations
  • Assist with cross-business coordination and communication of service design, change and transition activities (e.g. data quality management, service and incident management, implementation and update, planned changes and releases, potential implications etc.).
  • Mapping how products and services are used and defining clearly how they can be improved to be more effective

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in project management support over the full project life cycle to ensure that deliverables meet clients requirements and adhere to department project governance and recording requirements.
  • Demonstrated qualitative and quantitative analytical skills and experience in program change support and reporting with the ability to assimilate information quickly and present findings in a concise and meaningful way.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as business, project management and/or recent related, professional experience.
