The Goodstart experienced team has a great opportunity available for a Service Designer to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.

We are flexible on location as there is the ability to work from home, however, you would need to be able to work occasionally in our Head Office (either Murarrie QLD, Alexandria NSW, or Port Melbourne VIC).

About the Role:

  • Design Thinking, Lean Start-up, Lean UX, facilitating Design Sprints and Agile.
  • Consult with business stakeholders to shape strategic challenges
  • Plan and facilitate design sprints
  • Development of tools to foster innovation, capture and progress ideas across Goodstart
  • Establishment of design principles, tools, and frameworks to foster co-design and experience outcomes across Goodstart
  • Coaching, training and mentoring of service design across the group
  • Comfortable presenting complex concepts to senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to convert insights into tactical and strategic opportunities for pilots and projects
  • Strategic leadership of the service design capability in support of the National Experience Design Manager

About you:

  • 2+ years’ Service Design, User Experience and Customer Experience
  • Bachelor degree in Design (Service Design, Design Futures, Interaction Design) or similar.
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative human-centered design research
  • Absolute customer mindset with a strong track record in developing offers using market insight and hard metrics
  • Experience managing multiple programs across a matrix organization and still delivering a customer-focused outcome
