As a Service Designer, you will work on specific projects critical to the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) needs with opportunities to switch teams and projects as you and our fast-paced business grow and evolve.
SAP BTP is our platform that powers customers to become an intelligent enterprise through integration, extension, and data-to-value with development agility and speed. It encompasses database and data management, analytics, application development & integration, as well as intelligent technologies. The Role

As a Service Designer, you will:
•    Manage service design and innovation projects (Explore, Discover, Design, Deliver, Scale).
•    Plan and facilitate various co-creation formats (Design Thinking Workshops, Design Sprint, Concept Sprint, Bootcamps, Jams).
•    Develop end-to-end user journey maps and future state blueprint design maps, prototypes and user flows.
•    Support qualitative & quantitative user research.
•    Generate ideas and concepts (ideation) for complex systems such as platforms and data-driven solutions. Present strategic concepts that inspire change and innovation across multiple departments.
•    Create concepts and visualizations of information through structured tools like information architecture, storyboards, user stories, flowcharts, site maps, wireframes and concrete specifications and requirements
•    Work with multidisciplinary teams across the business to identify core customer missions, create user journeys and experiences that let our customers use our service seamlessly.
•    Collaborate closely with key internal and external stakeholders.
•    Be an ambassador for user centered design.

WHAT YOU BRING

•    3-5+ years professional experience as a service designer, strategic designer, or in a design thinking role
•    Advanced knowledge in design, concept development, customer centricity, process understanding, technology understanding and stakeholder management
•    The ability to synthesize research into concrete recommendations.
•    Exceptional portfolio showcasing a wide range of service or product design work which must be attached when applying for this job.
•    Strong understanding of fundamental service design principles, user-centered design methods, and design processes.
•    Experienced workshop facilitator for various co-creation formats
•    Demonstrated ability to learn complex technology.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
