We need a multichannel Service/Experience Designer to help us imagine, extend and build our community experience.

What you’ll do:

You get to design online hackathons and build landing pages to position the event, work with illustrators to design custom swag, design and build all the forms and flows for registration and activation, figure out how to get feedback and incorporate it into the community product. A finger in every slice of the service/experience pie! What could be more fun?!

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the full UX design process (workflows, wireframing, mockups, etc.)
  • Map out community user journey and create well leveraged touch points (including content, marketing and swag)
  • Design and build superb user experiences by creating effective and delightful user interfaces (such as landing pages) that drive community engagements.
  • Facilitate user testing and evaluate user feedback to further improve our community product

The ideal person:

  • Will take UX thinking & apply it across platform, in-person or online events, etc
  • Can design the flow, function and appearance of complex user interfaces end-to-end
  • Is comfortable with using UX methods such as user stories, user interviewing techniques, workflow, interaction design, A/B testing, to inform community product development.
  • Has some experience of design tools like Sketch/Figma or Adobe Suite. Advantageous to have experience working with Webflow/Ghost/Squarespace/other low code platforms.
  • Ideally has 1-3 years experience in UX Design
  • Is experienced in designing for in-person/online events or brand activations is highly desirable.
  • Has a diploma or university degree (Degree in design or psychology is a bonus)
