We are looking for an experienced Service designer who is driven by customer insights permeating the development of experiences and services – a humble specialist in Service design and Design research.

In Swedbank you get an opportunity to:

  • Plan and carry out qualitative Design Research by applying Service Design methodology and collaborating with other specialists to combine qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Create concepts at a high level through co-design, concept evaluation and prototype creation where the customer is involved in the process.
  • Analyze, compile and communicate research results in a pedagogical and inspiring way to contribute to an understanding of what collected insights mean for the development of products and services.
  • Assist and guide designers and other competencies within the bank from selection to planning and implementation of Design Research in choice of method (quantum / qualification), approaches (exploratory to validative) selection criteria etc.
  • Actively support and contribute to raising competence in Design Research and Service Design within Swedbank’s CX / UX community through training, coaching and development of common processes, tools and templates.
  • Educate and disseminate knowledge about design-driven working methods, to contribute to increased design maturity in the organization.

We are looking for you as:

  • has a broad practical knowledge in Design research and Service design
  • masters several different research methods, preferably with a focus on mixed methods.
  • is comfortable in setting the scope, requirements and restrictions in collaboration with stakeholders when starting up new initiatives and initiatives.
  • has solid experience of planning, facilitating and conducting workshops.
  • has a strong analytical ability and is skilled at compiling, visualizing and communicating results.
  • has experience of working in a large organization that is changing towards an agile way of working.
  • is used to triangular customers’ needs with the business perspectives and the business’s technical and organizational conditions to find solutions at this turning point
  • has the ability to argue and describe the value of a design-oriented approach.
  • enjoys collaborating and working with colleagues throughout the organization, across different disciplines and competencies.

Relevant education:

  • Experience of working as a Service Designer or Design Researcher for at least 3-5 years.
