As an expert Service Designer, you will:

  • Run co-design workshops with users, staff and senior stakeholders aligning both user needs and business goals.
  • Be part of a multi-disciplinary agile team and contribute to prototyping and testing efforts, to ensure that we continuously learn and iterate.
  • Use research evidence and design knowledge to negotiate with senior stakeholders and ensure the organisation is building the best end to end service for users.

About you
Some of the key skills and experience you will bring:

  • Experienced in service design at a senior practitioner level, with a solid understanding of organizational design, interaction design or graphic design.
  • Experience in developing service vision in collaboration with product managers and creating a service design strategy on how to get there for other designers to follow.
  • Experienced in leading user-centred service design, in agile, multidisciplinary teams with a focus on accessibility and inclusive design.
  • Experienced in a relevant working environment or have qualifications equivalent to a master’s level.

What we offer
In addition to planned, transparent progression you can look forward to the following benefits:

  • Flexible working which may include part-time hours, job shares, flexible hours and part-remote set ups
  • 27 days annual leave increasing to 33 days with service
  • Buy and sell annual leave scheme
  • Contributory Pension (with a contribution from us equal to 20.6% of your earnings)
  • NHS Discounts including shops, restaurants, gym, mobile phones, and insurance
  • Employee benefit schemes which include our Season Ticket Loan and Car Lease schemes

Please note if London based, you will receive a London weighting allowance which is 20% of the salary subject to a minimum payment of £4,473 and a maximum payment of £6,890.
