What you’ll be doing?

The Wunderman Thompson CX Team in the UK is a true mix of backgrounds, but all are united by an obsession with experiences. Our job is simple – we help brands create great experiences. Therefore, our work spans the entire Service Design process from research to delivery. We develop solutions to take advantage of the design, business and innovation opportunities we identify and then work collaboratively across the Wunderman Thompson network to make them a reality. We have proudly been named as Campaign’s Customer Engagement Agency of the Year for the last three years and have been highlighted as a world leading agency for CX Insight and Strategy by Forrester. As a Junior Service Designer, we would like to see an eagerness to learn, active contribution to projects and an ability to adapt to different situations.

  • Supporting the analysis of end-to-end customer journeys to identify customer pain points and opportunities to improve
  • Design of ‘future state’ experiences based upon customer behaviour, trends and brand positioning
  • Supporting the upskilling of our clients and their internal teams of how to use CX within their organisation

  • Understanding of human-centred design processes
  • Demonstrable graphic/illustrative design skills
  • Comfortable leading stakeholders through a design process
  • Analytical skills with an ability to derive relevant outputs from research
  • Clarity of thought and a structured design process
  • Be inquisitive and energetic
  • Sense of priority: be able to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines, whilst giving attention to detail
  • Ability to create a clear narrative, through work and presentations
  • Able to find out insights beyond the superficial
