<strong>Service Designer</strong>

About the role

As a Service Designer, you’ll play a vital role in helping us deliver change across the Borough for our residents based on their voices. Responsible for leading our service experts in designing and redesigning our services and how they operate, you’ll be at the centre of design and systems thinking at the council. You’ll facilitate systemic methods, set up frameworks, design thinking for key programmes and projects, and work to implement change and innovation across the council. Managing working groups within projects, you’ll prioritise innovation, working to maximise creativity and stakeholder involvement in everything you do.

About you

An established Service Design professional, you’ll be an excellent communicator capable of explaining how complex systems work to stakeholders and service managers. You’ll have the ability to facilitate service design, systems thinking, and other methodologies and techniques within cross-cutting customer journeys, keeping residents front of mind at all times. On a personal level, you’ll work with honesty and integrity, committed to ensuring residents across Hounslow have what they need to thrive.
