What you’ll do  

As Service Designer – Data Strategist, you’ll work with colleagues in Service Design, User Research and Product across the entire design process and lead on the use and analysis of data to deliver the vision for 2022. Ensuring a user-centred approach to everything we do, you’ll lead on the development of insights from across the service and wider organisation. You’ll work alongside Analytics and Insights colleagues to improve data literacy across the charity – with design principles at the core. You’ll be solution driven and work with colleagues to overcome challenges integrating the new and the existing services, including facilitating discussion around the use of data and analytics. You’ll bring people along on the transformation journey by ensuring openness and transparency, establishing new ways of working and you’ll support the move towards a data-informed culture across the organisation.

What you’ll bring

As an ideal candidate you’ll have demonstrable experience in service design and in data analysis. You’ll be able to apply your knowledge in creative and new ways to ensure solutions work for both service users and internal teams and be comfortable working in an agile environment. You’ll have a pioneering mindset with experience in designing and implementing a data strategy to inform the ongoing design of a service or product. You’ll be familiar with a range of analytical tools and techniques. You’ll ideally have a good understanding of service environments and be passionate about delivering the very best services for people who need them. You’ll be highly adaptable and driven to find the best approaches collaborating and communicating effectively at every point and all levels. You’ll have experience in facilitating and influencing and thrive when working with people and transforming organisations to become fit for the future in a digital era.
