What you’ll be doing

  • Use design research techniques to uncover customer needs and pain points.
  • Understand, analyse and map complex journeys and processes.
  • Support the development of service concepts, blueprints and other service design artefacts.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team members and clients.
  • Have strong communication skills and be confident presenting and defending your design decisions.
  • Support new product feature development efforts by providing expert information in pitch efforts and client meetings.
  • Attend, and sometimes lead and help plan events and workshops as we communicate the product.

We are after someone to

-Collaboratively develop the knowledge and visualisation of the service blueprint

-Develop user research goals and approaches for beta and MVP phases

-Conduct qual and quant policy/strategy research supporting learnings for beta and MPV phases

-Consolidate, synthesise and report on research

-Engage and lead in user centred workshops and follow ups with users through beta testing

Criteria

  • Relevant experience in service design or related role such as user experience design or design research
  • Passionate about service design creating human-centred services.
  • Strong Interest or willingness to learn in Policy/Strategy and shared outcomes potential of the government.
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging service design tools and methods.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience in running online and offline workshops.
  • Proven history of delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Accustomed to working collaboratively with clients and cross-functional team members from design and technology backgrounds.
