What’s the job?

Service Designers here at Insights are part of our growing Research & Design Team, a truly cross functional team and a key part of the wider Customer and Digital Function.

Our Service Designers lead the way in designing end-to-end services, pivotal in helping our user’s complete goals, while helping the business deliver our objectives.

Spending their time in the initial problem space, they look at the big picture and find new and innovative ways to improve and develop our service.

In this role you’ll guide the shape of products and services as you uncover user needs, business requirements and service problems, creating journeys maps, service blueprints, infographics and documentation as you go.

What are we looking for?

This is a entry level role suitable for someone with a good understanding of design, research, customer experience or business analysis.

You may have had experience in working in one or more of these areas, or are a recent graduate with a degree in one of these subjects, or a related course.

We are looking for an individual with an intense curiosity about people and their problems with a real desire to understand users, clients, and stakeholders through interviewing, observation and surveying, with an ability to translate gathered insight into first class experiences.

A natural communicator able to align teams and stakeholders around a goal, tempering idealism with pragmatism to satisfy both business and user goals.

You’ll be a strong team player with an ability to work cross functionally to deliver great customer experiences.
