Service Designer

As a Cricket Health service designer, you’ll partner closely with a Service Project Manager to conduct design research, analyze data, and interview internal team members all in service of understanding how Cricket Health can best meet our patient needs. This is an opportunity to be part of a team that is creating a positive impact in the world by improving the lives of people living with kidney disease.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Use design research to uncover patient needs, service gaps, and pain points.
• Understand, analyze and map complex journeys and processes.
• Champion service design within Cricket Health, advocating for better patient experience.
• Establish the blueprint for a new team dedicated to improving the way people, process, tools, and technology work together to deliver our patient experience.
• Own the service design deliverables within a project such as service concepts, blueprints and other service design artifacts.
• Lead and mentor other team members in the process of service design deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team members.
• Present, discuss, and advocate for your design decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in service design or similar role such as design research or user experience design.
• Enthusiastic and opinionated about human-centered services and design.
• Knowledge of existing and emerging service design tools and methods.
• Highly organized.
• Deep empathy for our patients, clinicians, and operational support staff that serve them.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in healthcare.
• Experience in running online and offline workshops.
• Experience designing for elderly people.
• Experience with quantitative research methodologies and drawing insights from data.
