Responsibilities: 

Your focus as a Solvera Service Designer will be working to improve a wide range of client services and delivery to customers by:
•    Working closely with stakeholders to understand and then map end-to-end services and processes from the customer’s perspective
•    Facilitating client workshops, engagement and ideation sessions and design sprints
•    Researching and leading service design methods on multi-disciplinary teams to re-imagine how clients could better provide services to their customers using digital technologies
•    Creating prototype services and solutions
•    Producing service design artifacts including service blueprints, journey maps and digital prototypes
•    Serving as an expert and mentor to Solvera and client team members and staff
•    Creating metrics and methods for measuring progress and success, during and after engagements with client departments

Desired Skills and Experience:

•    Completion of a post-secondary business, information technology or design program, with five or more years of related service/business design experience
•    Skilled in a range of design methodologies such as journey mapping, pattern and blueprint development, contextual interviews, ethnographic observation, diary studies, design thinking, user workshops, landscape reviews, trend analysis, etc.
•    Sound understanding of information architecture and systems thinking as they apply to the design of a service.
•    Strong facilitation, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
•    Experience working in agile, fast-paced environment
•    Experience with UI/UX best practices to support iterative prototype development
•    Capable of working independently with strong ability to priority tasks and manage time
•    Strong written and verbal communication, with excellent facilitation skills
•    Well versed in MS Office Suite, Visio and Adobe Creative Suite, with exposure to various design tools (inVision, Sketch, Keynote)
•    Ability to work legally in Canada
