About the role:

As a Service Designer at Hike One you will:

  • Leading service design projects, from strategic advice to the concrete design of service journeys and customer-focused solutions.
  • Develop customer journeys, service blueprints, and other visual models that make complex services clear and actionable.
  • Intensive collaboration with stakeholders to define both organizational goals and user needs, and translate these into supported service concepts.
  • Advise clients on the development of service strategies, propositions, and implementation roadmaps, guided by your expertise.
  • Coach other designers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team, for example through methodology development or internal sessions.
  • Actively monitor trends and developments in service design to continuously strengthen our approach and impact.

    About you

    • You have at least three years of relevant work experience in service design or similar and therefore extensive experience in setting up service blueprints and customer journeys.
    • You possess excellent communication skills and guide clients through the entire design process. You facilitate decision-making, always prioritizing their interests.
    • You know how to deal with many different stakeholders within complex organizations.
    • You have experience and interest in the latest methods and frameworks in product development.
    • You speak fluent English and can speak and/or understand Dutch (min. B2 level).
