Below that, charts track the board over time: postings per month across the full history, hiring by location and industry, the companies with the most active listings, and a daily posting timeline for the last 30 days.

The Market Insights section aggregates the extraction behind the Job X-Ray across every analyzed listing, including archived ones. Most charts show the share of analyzed jobs in the last 12 months, with the change against the prior 12 months; salary by seniority shows average stated ranges in EUR instead. Filters narrow everything to one country, seniority, or industry.

Where the data comes from

Two sources feed the page. The counts and charts at the top read live listings on the board. The Market Insights section aggregates the same automated extraction that fills the Job X-Ray, rebuilt every night from all analyzed listings. The page states how many listings sit behind the current numbers and when they were last computed.

Salary by seniority averages what listings state, in EUR. Location moves pay a lot, so that chart points to report.servicedesignjobs.com for location-specific figures.

Honest Limits

What it does not do

The Market X-Ray is a beta. It is free while we improve the data quality and the insights.

The percentages describe analyzed listings, not the whole profession. Filtered views can rest on a handful of jobs; the page warns when fewer than 20 analyzed jobs sit behind a filter.

Aggregates inherit extraction errors. A field read wrong on a listing is counted wrong here too.
